Frederick Oliver Ashbaugh 
Frederick Oliver was born on August 4th, 1781 in Mt. Joy Twp., York Co., PA. Frederick Oliver's father was Frederick* Ashbaugh and his mother was Sophia* Sells. His paternal grandfather was Johann Heinrich Eschbach and his paternal grandmother is Maria Elizabetha Merck; his maternal grandparents were Anthony* Sells and Catherine* Schneider. He had five brothers and two sisters, named David, Andrew*, Thomas, William, John, Susan and Catherine. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 59 on October 23rd, 1840 in Forsythe, Bertie Twp., Lincoln Co., Ontario, Canada.General Notes
