Catalina De Castilla Y was born on December 15th, 1485 in Alcalba De Henares, Madrid, Spain.  Catalina De Castilla Y's father was Fernando II D' Aragon and her mother was Isabel I De Castilla.  Her paternal grandparents were Juan II D' Aragon and Juana Enriquez; her maternal grandparents were Juan II De Castilla and Izabel De Castilla De Aviz. She had three sisters named Isabel De Castilla Y, Juana De Castilla Y and Maria De Castilla Y.  She was the youngest of the four children.  She died at the age of 50 on January 7th, 1536 in Kimbolton Castle, Huntingdonshire, England.  She was buried on January 29th, 1536 in Peterborough Abbey, Northamptonshire, England.
