Afonso D' was born about 1332. Afonso D''s father was Pedro D' Aragon and his mother is Jeanne De Foix. His paternal grandparents were Jaime IV D' Aragon and Blanche D' Anjou; his maternal grandparents were Gaston I De Foix and Jeanne D' Artois. He had a brother named Juan D'.
