Alberic was born in 1110 in Hedingham, Essex, England.  Alberic's father was Aubrey de Vere II and his mother was Alice de Clare.  His paternal grandfather was Baron Aubrey de Vere I and his paternal grandmother is Beatrice Gand de Guisnes; his maternal grandparents were Earl Gilbert FitzRichard de Clare I of Hertford and Alice de Claremont. He had a brother and three sisters, named Robert, Rohese, Juliana and Alice.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 84 on December 26th, 1194.  He was buried in Colne Priory, England.


Alberic's family with Lucia de Essex

‌Alberic and Lucia were married in a religious ceremony about 1158.  They had a son and a daughter, named Robert and Cecilia.
