Rhiwallon was born about 1025 in Powys, Wales.  Rhiwallon's father is King Cynfyn ap Gwerystan and his mother is Queen Angharad verch Maredydd.  His paternal grandparents are Baron Gwerystan ap Gwaithfoed of Powys and Nest verch Cadell; his maternal grandfather was Prince Maredudd ap Owain and his maternal grandmother is verch Llandilo. He had a brother and two sisters, named Bleddyn, Angharad and Iwerydd. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Gruffydd and Thurfrida.  He died  due to in battle in 1070 in Battle Mechain, Montgomeryshire, Wales.


Rhiwallon's family

‌Rhiwallon were married in a religious ceremony about 1038.  He had three biological daughters named Beatrice Gladys, Gwladus and Jonet.
