Bishop of Metz was born in 0596. Bishop of Metz's father was Bishop of Metz St. Arnulph and his mother was , Duchess of Metz Clothide. His paternal grandparents were II Bodegeisel and Oda of Savoy; his maternal grandparents were Bishop of Metz Arnoaldus and Oda of Savoy. He had three brothers and a sister, named Walchigise, Count of Verdon, Saint Clodulphe of, Mayor of Austrasia and St. Itta. He died at the age of 94 in 0690.-
