He had three brothers and ten sisters, named William Arnold, Roger, John, Maude, Alice, Elizabeth, Margaret, Blanch, Beatrice, Ann, Parnella, Margery and Ellen. He is the third oldest of the fourteen children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Richard and Alice.-
