Robert was born about 1295 in Tene, Staffordshire, England. Robert's father was Sir Robert de Draycote Beke and his mother is Elizabeth. His paternal grandparents were Sir Richard de Draycote and Lettice. He was an only child. He died in 1346.
They had a son named Nicholas.
