His paternal grandparents are John (Sir) (Lord of Killeen) Plunkett and Margery Preston. He had two brothers and a sister, named Broughton, Christopher (Sir) (2nd Lord of Killeen) and Janet (of Killeen). He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Christopher, Broughton, Edmund, Isabel Elizabeth and Alison. He died on August 18th, 1510.
