Mathilde of Chalons was born about 0945. Mathilde of Chalons' father was Ct. Lambert of Chalons and her mother was Adelais (Adelaide) of Vermandois. Her maternal grandparents were Ct. Robert I Count of Meaux & Troyes and Adelaide of Burgundy. She had a sister named Elisabeth of Chalons. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Le Noir (the Black), Ermengarde, of Anjou and Adelaide d'. She died before 1019.General Notes
