Carloman was born about 0710.1 Carloman's father was King Duke of the Franks Charles "The Hammer" Martel, Duke of the Franks and his mother was Swanhilde Of Bavaria. His paternal grandparents were Duke/Mayor "The Fat" Of Austrasia Pepin II and Concubine Alpais (Chalpaida) of Metz. He had four half-brothers and six half-sisters, and also a half-sibling of unknown gender, named Mayor of the Palace Grifo, Carloman, III "the Short" King of the Franks, Heironymous, Landree, Aude, of Francia of Austrasia, Gisele, Living, Auda and Grifon (Grifo).
