Elizabeth Catherine was born on March 20th, 1850 in Jackson Twnshp, Decatur Co., Indiana. Elizabeth Catherine's father was Evan Jenkins Linch and her mother was Amanda Ann Baird. Her paternal grandparents were Phillip Linch and Catherine Jenkins. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Edward, Frank, Ida and Stella. She was the oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 77 on May 21st, 1927 in Syracuse, Otoe Co, Nebraska. She was buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetry.-
