Elizabeth was born about 1285 in Of, Upholland, Lancashire, England. Elizabeth's father was Robert de Holand Knight and her mother is Elizabeth de Salmesbury. Her paternal grandfather was Thurstan De Holand and her paternal grandmother is Miss De Kellet; her maternal grandfather is William De Salmesbury and her maternal grandmother was Avena (Avina) Notton. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Adam, William, Robert de, Alan, Avena and Joan. She was the third youngest of the seven children. She died about 1332. She was buried in 1332 in At Badmin, Grey Friars.General Notes
