George Hobson 
George was born on February 27th, 1765 in ,Chatham,Nc.1 George's father was Stephen Hobson and his mother was Ann Barnes. His paternal grandparents were Cpt George Hobson and Hannah Kinnison; his maternal grandparents were Brinsley Barnes and Elizabeth Lindley. He had four brothers and a sister, named Stephen, David, Silas, John and Ann. He was the second oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother named Joseph. He died at the age of 80 on June 9th, 1845 in ,,Nc.1 -
