Walter Earl of Buckingham was born about 1066. Walter Earl of Buckingham's father was Walter Giffard , Earl of Buckingham de Bolebec and his mother was Agnes Ermentrude Flaitel. His paternal grandfather was Osburne Giffard de Bolbec and his paternal grandmother is Wevia of Denmark; his maternal grandfather was Gerard de Flaitel and his maternal grandmother is Dau. of Robert I de Everaux. He had a brother and three sisters, named Hugh de Bolbec, Rohese Giffard, Adelaide of Bolbec and Isabel of Bolebec. He died in 1102.-
