Giles was born on October 25th, 1395 in Kempston, Bedfordshire, England and his baptism took place there on October 25th, 1395. Giles' father was Giles Daubeney Knight and his mother was Marguerite Beauchamp. His paternal grandparents were Giles Daubeney Baron Daubeney and Alianore Willington; his maternal grandfather was John Beauchamp. He had two brothers and three sisters, named John, Thomas, Elizabeth, Matilda and Joan. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 50 on January 11th, 1446 in Barrington, Somersetshire, England. He was buried in Our Lady Chapel, South Petherton, Somersetshire, England.-
