William Franklin Warren 
William Franklin was born on December 27th, 1853 in Brushy, Green Co., Kentucky.1 William Franklin's father was William B. Warren and his mother was Elizabeth Salsman. His paternal grandparents were Hugh Warren and Mary Elizabeth Hilbern; his maternal grandparents are Moses Salesman and Mary Elizabeth Unknown. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John Taylor, Hugh, Abraham Lincoln, Richard Archie, James Thomas, Mary Ann, Mariah Jane and Sarah Frances. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 69 on September 4th, 1923 in LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
