Reuben Underwood 
Reuben was born in 1742 in Madison Co., Virginia.1 Reuben's father was Nathan,Jr. Underwood and his mother was Elizabeth Anderson. His paternal grandfather was Nathan Underwood and his paternal grandmother is Diana Unknown; his maternal grandfather was George Anderson and his maternal grandmother is UNKNOWN Unknown. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Jonathan, George, Joseph D., Joshua, Joel, Elijah, Gideon, Sarah and Ann Nancy. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 48 in 1790 in Kentucky.1 General Notes
