Sarah Frances was born on February 2nd, 1878 in Hector's Creek, Harnett Co., North Carolina.1 Sarah Frances' father was Jessie Harris Tutor and her mother was Sarah Elizabeth Sexton. Her paternal grandparents were William Madison Tutor and Harriet Ligon; her maternal grandparents are John Sexton and Lincinda Utey. She had seven brothers named William Randall, Sephus E., Wiley Oscar, Oscar Harris, Henry L., James Daniel and John Madison. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 80 on March 16th, 1958.1 General Notes
