Henry L. was born on July 29th, 1881 in Fuquay Springs, Harnett Co., North Carolina.1 Henry L.'s father was Jessie Harris Tutor and his mother was Sarah Elizabeth Sexton. His paternal grandparents were William Madison Tutor and Harriet Ligon; his maternal grandparents are John Sexton and Lincinda Utey. He had six brothers and a sister, named William Randall, Sephus E., Wiley Oscar, Oscar Harris, James Daniel, John Madison and Sarah Frances. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 62 on January 29th, 1944.1 General Notes
