Andrew Jackson was born on May 10th, 1874.1 Andrew Jackson's father was Marshall Andrew Tutor and his mother was Laura Jane Cotton. His paternal grandfather was Owen Young Tutor and his paternal grandmother is Lucinda Dennis. He had four brothers and six sisters, named George Washington, Lester, John W., Raymond, Lucy Jane, Mollie F., Sara Dora, Sindy Hazeline, Callie F. and Ira P.. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 64 on May 25th, 1938. He was buried in Macedonia Baptist Church, Fuquay Varina, Wake Co., North Carolina.1 1 General Notes
