James Monroe,Jr. was born on January 2nd, 1901.1 James Monroe,Jr.'s father was James Monroe Thompson and his mother was Sarah Frances Crook. His maternal grandparents were Benjamin Telfair Crook and Martha Elizabeth Chastain. He had a brother and two sisters, named William Benjamin, Frances Marie and Bonnie Kate.
