Basil Spring 
Basil was born on April 11th, 1900.1 Basil's father was William 'Willie' Spring and his mother was Harriet 'Hattie' Self. His paternal grandparents were William M. Spring and Jane LeFlore; his maternal grandparents are William Self and Mary Baxter. He had two brothers and nine sisters, named Grandville Louis, William 'Bert', Mary Jane, Amie Etter, Laura, Lorin G., Nannie, Lillie May, Carrie Helen, Hazel Edna and Julie Lee. He was the third youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 67 on August 25th, 1967.1 General Notes
