William Smith

William's father was Thomas Smith and his mother was Penelope Minerva Basham. His maternal grandparents were Bartlett Angel, Jr. Basham and Nancy Susan Farmer. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Stephen, Samuel, Nancy Farmer, Elizabeth Ellen, Letitia, Frances Fannie and Permelia. He died on February 26th, 1890.¹
