James Senter 
James was born in 1796 in North Carolina.1 James' father was Henry Senter and his mother was Rebecca Avent. His paternal grandfather was Stephen Senter and his paternal grandmother is Mary Unknown; his maternal grandparents are Peter Avent and Amy Massey. He had four brothers named William, Drury, Aaron and Stephen.
James and Caroline were married in a religious ceremony on January 28th, 1803 in Lincoln Co., Kentucky.1 They have a daughter named Louisa Thompson.
