Mecie Margree was born on September 21st, 1931 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas.1 Mecie Margree's father is Ura Russell and her mother was Jewell Florence Basham. Her maternal grandparents were Wesley Oley (Twin) (Samp) Basham and Mecie Purtle Lockwood. She had three sisters named Dorothy, Living and Living. She died at the age of 62 on February 3rd, 1994 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was buried in Murfreesboro Cem., Pike Co., Arkansas.1 1 General Notes
