John A. Rogers 
John A. was born on May 10th, 1853.1 John A.'s father was Alfred M. Rogers and his mother was Margaret P. Vaughn. His paternal grandfather was John Rogers and his paternal grandmother is Malinda Wilson; his maternal grandparents are Tarleton Vaughn and Polly Naylor. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Tarleton V., Council Hart, Cynthia E., Ruie Ruth, Lucy O. and Mary. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 23 on September 13th, 1876.1 General Notes
