Alice May was born on May 1st, 1881 in Buchholtz, Texas.1 Alice May's father was Sterling Price Rogers and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Wilson. Her paternal grandparents were George Washington Lafayette Rogers and Sarah Ann Emaline Lamb. She had a brother and three sisters, named Washington Layette, Samanthey, Savana Jane and Lizzie Monroe. She was the youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 84 in March 1966 in Stephenville, Texas. She was buried in Stephenville, Texas.1 1 General Notes
