Sylvania Ritchie 
Sylvania was born on November 27th, 1880 in Knott Co., Kentucky.1 Sylvania's father was Edward Ritchie and her mother was Kizzy Smith. Her paternal grandfather was John Ritchie and her paternal grandmother is Sylvania Sizemore; her maternal grandparents were Elias Smith and Elizabeth Ritchie. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Nicholas, Emmazell, Isaac, Austin, Armelda, Marion and Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 88 on February 26th, 1969.1 General Notes
