John C. Ritchie

John C. was born in 1856.¹ John C.'s father is Hiram Ritchie and his mother was Euphemy Pharbia Patrick. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Crockett Ritchie and Elizabeth Susan Grigsby. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named Alexander, Marcum, Christopher Columbus, Elias, James, Elizabeth, Lucinda, Yanta, Letty, Mary, Catherine, Clarissa and Martha. He is the fourth youngest of the fourteen children.
