Elizabeth Ritchie

Elizabeth was born in 1838.¹ Elizabeth's father is Hiram Ritchie and her mother was Euphemy Pharbia Patrick. Her paternal grandparents were Alexander Crockett Ritchie and Elizabeth Susan Grigsby. She had six brothers and seven sisters, named Alexander, Marcum, Christopher Columbus, Elias, John C., James, Lucinda, Yanta, Letty, Mary, Catherine, Clarissa and Martha. She is the second oldest of the fourteen children.
