Oscar Melvin Preston

Oscar Melvin was born on March 29th, 1880.¹ Oscar Melvin's father was Sempronius Preston and his mother was Rachel Hinton Christy. His paternal grandparents were Booker Preston and Mary S. Ferguson. He was an only child. He died at the age of 78 on March 10th, 1959 in Dodge Grove, Matoon, Illinois.¹
