Vernon Ray Ponder

Vernon Ray was born on February 24th, 1889.¹ Vernon Ray's father was Andrew Jackson Ponder and his mother was Margaret Ray Fuller. His paternal grandparents were John W. Ponder and Winney Norwood. He has three brothers and a sister, named Ollie Lafayette, Benjamin A., Robert Lee and Callie Evelyn. He is the second youngest of the five children.
