Maggie was born on September 24th, 1867 in Tyler Co. Texas.1 Maggie's father is Rasamus Platt and her mother was Nancy A. D. Graham. Her maternal grandfather was John Graham and her maternal grandmother is Demarious Chapman. She had three brothers and four sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named John Bishop, William, E. Burton, Minnie Lu, Genevah, Matilda Demarious, Adelia R. and Wessie. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 33 on May 1st, 1901 in Tyler Co. Texas.1 General Notes
