John Bishop Platt 
John Bishop was born on January 21st, 1871.1 John Bishop's father is Rasamus Platt and his mother was Nancy A. D. Graham. His maternal grandfather was John Graham and his maternal grandmother is Demarious Chapman. He had two brothers and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named William, E. Burton, Maggie, Minnie Lu, Genevah, Matilda Demarious, Adelia R. and Wessie. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 71 in 1942. He was buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery , Tyler Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
