Meredith was born on July 8th, 1823.1 Meredith's father was Joseph Pendley and his mother was Nancy M Childress. His paternal grandparents were James Pendley and Amelia Moness Smith. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Benjamin A, Isaac E, William Harrison, James, Louvina H, Mahala and Sarah A. He died before 1900.1 -
