Fred's father was George W Pendley and his mother was Lizzie Page.  His paternal grandparents were Meredith Pendley and Selina Frances Woodward. He had two brothers and a sister, named Clyde, Curt and Lillian. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Word and Flora Etta.
