His paternal grandparents were Francis Eslick Pendley and Cassandra B Whitaker; his maternal grandparents were William Minor McKINNEY and Elizabeth Layne. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Cicero Orlando, Homer, Raymond H, William Francis, Glenn Grady, Oscar Byron, Lois and Clara. He died at the age of 71 on January 5th, 1965 in LUBBOCK, TEXAS.1 -
