Margaret Payne 
Margaret was born on August 3rd, 1817 in Virginia.1 Margaret's father was Jubal Payne and her mother was Rhoady Basham. Her maternal grandparents were William Basham and Sarah Sally Shrewsbury. She had eight brothers and six sisters, named Dudley H., Richard H., William B., James, Simeon, Jubal, Jr., Joel, John W., Nancy, Agnes, Eliza Jane, Mary D., Sely and Martha. She is the fifth oldest of the fifteen children.-
