William B. Payne 
William B. was born on February 19th, 1813 in Virginia.1 William B.'s father was Jubal Payne and his mother was Rhoady Basham. His maternal grandparents were William Basham and Sarah Sally Shrewsbury. He had seven brothers and seven sisters, named Dudley H., Richard H., James, Simeon, Jubal, Jr., Joel, John W., Nancy, Margaret, Agnes, Eliza Jane, Mary D., Sely and Martha. He is the third oldest of the fifteen children.-
