Asa Mark Payne 
Asa Mark was born in 1859 in Polk Co., Missouri.1 Asa Mark's father is Joel Payne and his mother was Mary Polly Huckaby. His paternal grandparents were Jubal Payne and Rhoady Basham. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas William, James R., Benjamine F., Nonnie, Elizabeth J., Alice, Amanda and Lila. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 86 in 1945.1 General Notes
