Thomas William Payne 
Thomas William was born in 1846 in Polk Co., Missouri.1 Thomas William's father is Joel Payne and his mother was Mary Polly Huckaby. His paternal grandparents were Jubal Payne and Rhoady Basham. He had three brothers and five sisters, named James R., Benjamine F., Asa Mark, Nonnie, Elizabeth J., Alice, Amanda and Lila. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 50 in 1896.1 General Notes
