William,Jr. Paxton 
William,Jr. was born on September 1st, 1803.1 William,Jr.'s father was William Paxton and his mother was Jane Grigsby. His maternal grandparents were John,3rd Grigsby and Elizabeth Porter. He had five brothers and ten sisters, named Joseph, Thomas, John, Samuel, Benjamin Porter, Betsey, Mary D., Martha Patsy, Phoebe, Rachel, Sallie, Frances Jane, Agnes Ann, Hannah E. and Verlinda. He was the fifth youngest of the sixteen children. He died at the age of 76 in November 1879 in Falling Spring, Rockbridge Co., Viriginia.1 General Notes
