Richard Edward, Jr. was born on April 11th, 1896 in Ethel, MIssouri.1 Richard Edward, Jr.'s father was Richard Edward, Sr. Owen and his mother was Nina Irene Hazen. His paternal grandparents were John Edward Owen and Grace Jones. He had four brothers and a sister, named Phillip Paul, Daniel Hazen, Edmund Prys, Ellis Rhys and Hannah Irene. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 65 on July 16th, 1961. He was buried in Brookfield, Missouri.1 1 General Notes
