Anderson Knight Newman 
Anderson Knight was born on September 16th, 1853 in Karnes Co. Texas.1 Anderson Knight's father was Andrew Rabb Newman and his mother was Lydia Amanda Smalley. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Austin Newman and Rachel Rabb; his maternal grandfather was John Smalley and his maternal grandmother is Salome Swallow. He had a brother and a sister, named Riley Elwood and Viola Ophelia. He had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Andrew Jesse, Arthur Lewis, Joseph Eli, Robert Green, Thomas Edwin, Claudy and Mary Elizabeth. He died at the age of 58 on November 11th, 1911 in Atasocosa, Texas.1 General Notes
