Hillery Clifton Moseley 
Hillery Clifton was born on December 21st, 1848 in Halifax, Virginia.1 Hillery Clifton's father was Charles Hillery Moseley and his mother was Sarah Ann Marable. His paternal grandparents were Hillery, Jr. Moseley and Margaret Bouldin. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Henry Emerson, Thomas Bedford, Charles Arthur, George Gilmer, Richard Eric, Ella Olena, Mary Maude and Sarah Marable. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 73 on February 5th, 1922.1 General Notes
