George Gilmer Moseley 
George Gilmer was born on August 3rd, 1862 in Halifax, Virginia.1 George Gilmer's father was Charles Hillery Moseley and his mother was Sarah Ann Marable. His paternal grandparents were Hillery, Jr. Moseley and Margaret Bouldin. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Hillery Clifton, Henry Emerson, Thomas Bedford, Charles Arthur, Richard Eric, Ella Olena, Mary Maude and Sarah Marable. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 57 on January 26th, 1920.1 General Notes
