Lithgow Brown Means 
Lithgow Brown was born on December 25th, 1860.1 Lithgow Brown's father was Joseph Markle Means and his mother is Margaret Ingram. His paternal grandparents were John Means and Susannah Whitesell; his maternal grandparents are John Ingram and Sarah Ridpath. He had four brothers and a sister, named Cassius Whitesell, William Alfred, John I., Robert Markle and Ada. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 47 on January 29th, 1908.1 General Notes
