Jack Brown was born on May 29th, 1922 in Forreston, Ellis Co., Texas.1 Jack Brown's father was Dean Phoenix McCorcle and his mother was Hattie Perpie Belyeu. His paternal grandparents were William Wade Hudgins McCorcle and Amanda Lavessa Stuart. He had six brothers and three sisters, named William Robert, Finnis Collins, John Archie, Milton Flynn, Living, Tommie Spencer, Cora Essie, Mary Dean and Betty Jo. He died at the age of 72 on December 20th, 1994 in Odessa, Ector, Texas, United States of America. He was buried in Colorado City, Mitchell Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
