Essie Ethel Manning 
Essie Ethel was born on July 4th, 1894 in Coryell, Co., Texas.1 Essie Ethel's father was George Washington Manning and her mother is Susan Elizabeth Davis. Her paternal grandparents were James Duncan Manning and Martha Jane Graham. She had three brothers and eight sisters, named Luther Allen, Charles, Robert Alvin, Hattie Florilla, Iva Dell, Alzoria Palmaria, Susane Elizabeth, Lottie Mae, Effie Edna, Dessie Ovelia and Mordie Esta. She was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 98 on July 17th, 1992 in Coryell, Co., Texas.1 General Notes
